Department of Computer Science & Engineering • Netrokona University

As a Chairperson, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Netrokona University (NeU). For more than six years, our department has been committed to nurturing the beautiful and creative minds and preparing them for successful careers in academia, industry, and research.

Our curriculum is designed to meet international standards, combining fundamental theories of computer science with practical engineering, problem-solving, design, analysis, and the development of solutions to complex real-world challenges. We offer two academic programs, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering. Beginning with core areas of hardware, software, and networking, our academic programs encompass a wide range of contemporary fields, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Cloud Computing.

Alongside academic excellence, we tried to place strong emphasis on competitive programming, innovative thinking, practical design, research, interdisciplinary learning, and the development of communication and other essential soft skills. Students are also encouraged to participate in various clubs and extracurricular activities of the University, where they can develop leadership, teamwork, creativity, and a strong sense of community. Our goal is to prepare future-ready graduates who can address real-world challenges through technology and innovation. We encourage our students to think beyond traditional approaches, create new knowledge, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Once again, we warmly welcome enthusiastic and creative minds to join us in building a smarter, more innovative, and technologically advanced Bangladesh.
