Abdullah Al Shiam is a researcher and academic in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh. He has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Netrokona University, where he has been involved in teaching, academic administration, and research.
He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Rajshahi, securing first position in both programs. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, brain–computer interfaces (BCI), EEG signal processing, biomedical data analysis, and human-centric intelligent systems. He has published research articles in international journals and conferences in the areas of EEG-based brain–computer interfaces, motor imagery, seizure detection, and multimodal intelligent systems.
Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Japan under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship, focusing on advanced AI and data-driven approaches for human-centered applications.
