The Computer Science and Engineering Department was established as one of the founding departments of Netrokona University, with a vision to provide quality education in computing and technology.

First Batch Admission
The department welcomed its first batch of 30 students into the undergraduate program, marking the beginning of a new era in technical education in the region.

Lab Facilities Expansion
The department established two new computer labs with modern equipment, including high-performance computers and networking facilities to support practical learning.

First Graduating Class
The department celebrated its first graduating class, with many students securing positions in renowned tech companies and pursuing higher studies at home and abroad.

Research Initiatives
The department established its research wing, focusing on areas like artificial intelligence, data science, and network security, with several faculty members receiving research grants.

Current Status
Today, the CSE Department at Netrokona University has grown to include 8 faculty members, over 150 students, and state-of-the-art laboratories, continuing its mission to produce skilled computer engineers.
